Productomschrijving
This authentic Scottish stoneware whisky jug is a fine example of early 20th-century whisky packaging, produced for export and commercial sale. The jug bears the inscription “Glen Garr – Finest Scotch Whisky” and was manufactured by John Hopkins & Co. Ltd., based in Glasgow, Scotland.
It is a traditional Scottish whisky jug in cream-colored glazed stoneware, featuring a brown glazed neck and two handles. The jug is fitted with its original ceramic screw cap (marked “Domco Pedro / Jerez”), which significantly enhances both its authenticity and collectible value.
The various inscriptions, including “Product of Scotland” and “Distilled, blended & bottled in Scotland,” are clearly legible and emphasize the origin and commercial purpose of the object.
