Byzantine Icon of Saint Nicholas – Decorative Reproduction (circa 1970–1990)

This religious icon in Byzantine style depicts Saint Nicholas, shown frontally holding a Gospel book and flanked by small medallions of Christ and the Virgin Mary. It is a decorative reproduction of a classical Byzantine icon, produced in the second half of the 20th century.

Saint Nicholas is represented according to traditional Orthodox iconography: as a bishop, making a gesture of blessing and holding the Gospel. The small medallions of Christ and Mary refer to his spiritual authority and role within the church tradition. The composition closely follows historical Byzantine examples.
