This stunning set of three Chinese blue and white porcelain bowls is a unique collectible with a rich history. Two saucers date back to the prestigious Kangxi period (1662-1722), while the larger bowl is from the 19th-century Qing dynasty (Daoguang/Guangxu period). The hand-painted floral motifs and rock formations reflect the refined craftsmanship of Jingdezhen, China’s most renowned porcelain center. This antique porcelain is both decorative and historically valuable.
About the Manufacturer: These bowls were produced in Jingdezhen, the legendary Chinese city known as the birthplace of imperial and export porcelain. The Kangxi period is considered one of the most artistically refined eras in Chinese porcelain production. The saucers bear a six-character Kangxi mark, indicating production during this dynasty or a later tribute. The larger bowl, possibly marked with a Jade seal, originates from the Qing dynasty and reflects the 19th-century commercial porcelain market.
Usage & Decoration: These porcelain bowls were traditionally used in Chinese dining culture. The smaller saucers served as tea coasters or serving dishes, while the larger bowl was used for rice, soup, or small dishes. In addition to functional use, this set is a stunning decorative piece for a display cabinet, a classic dining room, or as an addition to an antique Chinese porcelain collection.
Perfect Gift Idea: For lovers of Asian art and antiques, this set is a unique and exclusive gift. Perfect for collectors of Chinese porcelain, interior designers, or as a cultural heirloom in a classic setting. This is a remarkable find for birthdays, anniversaries, or as an investment with future value appreciation.
