Productomschrijving
This elegant set of four decorative dessert plates was produced by Boch Frères Keramis in La Louvière, Belgium. The plates feature a refined combination of decorative craftsmanship and cultural heritage, making them both collectible and visually appealing.
Each plate is decorated with a central scene titled “De Spraakverwarring”, after a work by the Dutch 18th-century artist Cornelis Troost (1740). The image is a printed reproduction of this historical artwork, rendered in warm sepia/red tones and framed by a richly decorated border in gold, red, and blue.
Sets like this were produced as part of decorative and educational tableware, often used as dessert services or collected for their artistic and historical themes.
