We've been partnering with the Ashton Armoury Museum since 2017. It's a really cool place run entirely by volunteers, and it's located in an active armoury. The museum is all about preserving, showcasing, and sharing historical artifacts related to the units based at Ashton Armoury. They have an amazing collection, including 15 military vehicles, and 11 of them are actually used in local events. They're always looking for funding to keep these vehicles in top condition.
Our relationship started when we donated parts they needed to restore a WWII Dispatch Rider’s motorcycle. Later, when they had items that didn’t fit their collection and needed to sell, we helped them get those pieces in front of a larger audience. We made sure everything sold at fair prices, and the funds went right back into maintaining their collection, especially those incredible vehicles!
If you're into military history, you should definitely visit! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and you’ll leave with a new appreciation for the service units on display.
