Product Description
This elegant Delft blue lidded vase, also known as a ginger jar, is a fine example of 18th-century Dutch Delftware, inspired by Chinese porcelain of the same period.
The vase features a classic octagonal base and rounded body, topped with its original lid—an important and desirable element for collectors. The hand-painted decoration depicts a charming chinoiserie scene with a pagoda, figure, bird, and floral motifs, executed in traditional cobalt blue on a white ground.
